Adventurer and photographer Robert Neu wants to find out if this image is true and embarks on a 4,500 km cycling journey around the island. Along the way, he discovers spectacular landscapes, the true Irish way of life, and brings back impressive photographs. His route along the Wild Atlantic Way takes him over the Dingle and Beara peninsulas, the legendary Ring of Kerry, and to Skellig Michael, known from Star Wars and home to puffins. On the Aran Islands, he experiences rough weather and prehistoric monuments, climbs mountains in Connemara, and celebrates St. Patrick’s Day with locals.
