Mirja Klippel, an artist born in Finland who now lives in rural Denmark, has made a name for herself in the alternative folk scene by weaving the rugged beauty of the Nordic landscape with a deep longing in her music. Her music is inspired by Finnish folk music, Americana, atmospheric dream pop, and indie, and is both beautiful and tragic in the most romantic sense.
