But Ephraim Kishon dares to conduct a thought experiment: What if Juliet had awakened in time and the two are now – 30 years later – stuck in Verona? Romeo is a failed ballet teacher and Juliet is not faring any better in her role as a housewife. Both are struggling with the banality of everyday life. Their daughter Lucretia is going through her teenage years, the nurse has her own romantic desires, and Father Lorenzo, now proudly 98 years old, doesn't bring any new energy to the situation. When suddenly William Shakespeare himself appears to set his tragedy right again, the situation escalates completely.
