"Lead the light"

In cooperation with the Design Seminar Profiprax under the direction of Dirk Skowronski and Judith Harbecke, as well as the Evangelical Church Community of Lippstadt, an extraordinary light installation is being realized at the Cappel Monastery. This artistic presentation, accompanied by musical performances, transforms both the outdoor area and the interior of the monastery church into a fascinating light experience. Following this, a social gathering invites everyone to conclude the evening in a communal atmosphere. This event is part of the "find your light" series 2026, organized by the Monastic Landscape of Westfalen-Lippe. Between January 18 and February 13, 2026, a total of 35 events will take place throughout Westfalen-Lippe, inviting participants to rediscover the cultural heritage of "monasteries."
