The comprehensive retrospective of Gregory Crewdson at the Kunstmuseum Bonn presents over 70 works by the artist, spanning from the 1980s to the present. The exhibition offers a deep insight into Crewdson's development, starting with his early works, through the iconic series "Twilight" and "Beneath the Roses," to more recent pieces that address the decline of American society outside the metropolises. Crewdson's elaborately staged photographs, which he refers to as "Single Frame Movies," condense cinematic narratives into a single moment while remaining enigmatic and open to interpretation. The exhibition has been organized in cooperation with the Albertina, Vienna, and promises a unique experience for art enthusiasts.
