In "Einszweiundzwanzig vor dem Ende" by Matthieu Delaporte, the story of Bernhard is told, who finds himself in an existential crisis and wishes to end his life. However, his plan is interrupted by the unexpected appearance of a man with a mustache and a pistol, who turns out to be Death personified. Yet, he has taken the wrong floor, leading to a quirky and profound dialogue about life and death. The production, directed by Martin Schulze, with set design and costumes by Ariane Scherpf, presents a blend of dark humor and philosophical reflection. The German translation is by Georg Holzer.
