Transit Casablanca

In the production of "Transit Casablanca," the audience is transported into the atmosphere of "Rick’s Café," a luxurious nightclub that serves as a meeting point for locals, refugees, and soldiers from various warring factions. The owner Rick, known for his laid-back and aloof demeanor, is faced with an emotional challenge when he unexpectedly reunites with his great love Ilsa, who once left him in Paris. Ilsa does not appear alone, but is accompanied by her husband Victor, which forces Rick to decide whether to help the couple or seize his own chance at a happy ending with Ilsa. The production, directed by Nadja Blank, impresses with a thoughtful set design and costumes by Jörg Zysik, as well as musical accompaniment by Jan Exner. The dramaturgy is in the hands of Verena Caspers, supported by assistant director Julia Kempf.
