Witches' Night at Castle Satzvey

The Witching Night at Burg Satzvey is an outstanding cultural event that takes place annually on April 30th. Set against the historical backdrop of the water castle, Walpurgis Night is celebrated with a diverse program. A medieval witch market offers a variety of stalls featuring handmade goods and culinary specialties. Musical performances by various bands create an exhilarating atmosphere. The highlight is the lighting of the largest May bonfire in the Rhineland at midnight. Costumes in the style of witches and wizards are welcome and contribute to the authentic ambiance. Please note that bringing weapons of any kind and beverages is not permitted. Program changes are reserved.
