SOPHIE CHASSÉE

With five albums and international concerts, Sophie Chassée has established herself as an outstanding artist in modern fingerstyle guitar. Her current album "Attachment Theory" (2024) combines fingerstyle techniques with acoustic folk pop and singer-songwriter elements. Influenced by artists such as Colbie Caillat, Ben Howard, and John Mayer, she addresses themes of love, change, and personal experiences in her English-language songs. In addition to her solo career, she collaborates with guitarists like Jon Gomm and Joscho Stephan, as well as producers like Peter "Jem" Seifert. Since 2018, she has been working as a live bassist for bands such as Alli Neumann, Blumengarten, and AnnenMayKantereit, and in 2025, she played guitar and bass for the Heavytones during TV appearances.
