GARDEN MAGIC - Garden and Plant Market

The "GARDEN MAGIC – Garden and Plant Market" in Wassenberg is an established event that presents a diverse range of offerings for garden enthusiasts. Located at Pontorsonplatz, nestled between the garden park and Wassenberg Forest, around 25 exhibitors from the region, the Netherlands, and Belgium showcase a wide variety of plants, including perennials, vegetable and herb plants, botanical rarities, as well as fruit trees and roses. The assortment is complemented by regional products such as asparagus, honey, and strawberries. Visitors can receive advice on garden design and discover inspiring decorations, birdhouses, and insect hotels. Guided walks through the garden park and Wassenberg Forest provide in-depth insights into the local flora. Creative activities for children are available, while workshops for adults round out the program. A special highlight is the city's mascot, Sammy the Seedling, who adds charm to the event. Culinary delights are offered at the square, along with coffee and cake at the community center of the Nature Park Gate. Admission is free.
