In a short presentation at the visitor center of the State Bird Protection Station in Buckow, interesting and important information about the protection project for the impressive Great Bustard will be shared. Afterwards, the observation towers will be visited, and with a bit of luck, the male Great Bustards can be observed during their courtship display. Binoculars and windproof clothing in muted colors are recommended. Arrival by public transport: RE 4 to Nennhausen, then a 3 km walk to Buckow and another approximately 3 km to the observation towers; please let us know how you will be arriving for better planning!
