International Museum Day: School and Local History Museum Schönermark

The Schönermark School and Local History Museum invites you not only to visit but also to enjoy coffee, cake, and May punch. The half-timbered building was constructed in 1827 as a single-class school building with a teacher's apartment. The room's furnishings provide an impression of rural school life in the 19th century. Additionally, there are objects on display from household and work life of earlier years in the countryside. At the opening of Museum Day, the Angermünde Brass Choir and the organist Maria Scheller will perform in the church. Afterwards, everyone is invited to a cozy gathering on the museum grounds. Children can play with toys from their grandparents and use the coloring corner.
