The Schönermark School and Local History Museum invites you to visit, as well as to enjoy coffee and cake. The half-timbered building was constructed in 1827 as a single-class school building with a teacher's apartment. The room's furnishings provide an impression of rural school life in the 19th century. Additionally, there are items on display from household and work life of earlier years in the countryside. The event is jointly organized by the Schönermark Village Association, the Schönermark Local Council, the Schönermark Volunteer Fire Brigade, and the Schönermark Sports Club.
