The Three Musketeers

In the version by the Theater Poetenpack, the story of D'Artagnan is told, who is drawn from the sleepy provincial Gascony to the center of the nation, Paris. There, in politically tumultuous times, he aims to serve as a musketeer on the side of King Louis XIII against the scheming dealings of Cardinal Richelieu and his mysterious spy, Lady de Winter. Initially, not without problems, he must get to know his three companions through duels, who then form a successful quartet with him over the course of the story. Their motto for the common fight: "One for all – All for one!" Of course, with an ironic distance to the classic swashbuckler drama and with a wink, the Theater Poetenpack presents a historical hero's panopticon with a small group of performers.
