Hollywood on the Havel: Heroes - 6th Special Concert

Because you don't pay much attention to what your ears are telling you. But without music, the images wouldn't be as vibrant; Robin Hood wouldn't be so heroic, Wonder Woman wouldn't be so wonderfully feminine, and Superman wouldn't be so strong. We recognize our cinematic superheroes long before they appear: when their music plays. Film music composers like John Williams, James Horner, or Alan Silvestri are the superheroes of the leitmotif; they create atmosphere and paint pictures with sounds.
