From the Fisherman and His Wife

A fairy tale about the longing for more! A puppet show. - Puppet Theater The Fisherman and His Wife, who don’t have much. They have each other, the sea, and a tiny hut. And they are lucky, because the fisherman catches a fish, a big flounder. And he is a cursed prince. You can make a wish! A bigger house, of course. Out of the cramped hut – why didn’t the fisherman think of that right away! So he has to go back to the flounder and wish for a house, for himself and his Ilse. And now it stands there, the new house. The fisherman likes it too. And yet it could be a bit bigger… thinks his wife. Fisherman, go back to the flounder! Ilse wants to live in a beautiful, big castle… The flounder can do that. And he’s happy to do it, says Ilse! Actually, the fisherman doesn’t want to go back there and ask the flounder again.
