The first openart Lausitz Biennale for contemporary art is a regional exhibition, partly featuring international contributions, with over 50 positions in four cities and one village across the various districts of Lausitz. Under the motto "Art shapes spaces," the Biennale aims to bring the cultural diversity of Lausitz into a broader conversation. The exhibition will showcase painting, photography, sculpture, installations, as well as multimedia and performance – the program will be complemented by live events such as staged readings, workshops, and participatory activities.
