Approaches. Forst (Lausitz) - Special exhibition in Forst.

How does one approach a city? Historically, literarily, by walking, cycling, or with a camera? The exhibition "Approaches. Forst (Lausitz)" invites you to discover the city on the Neisse River from new perspectives. Between 2023 and 2025, the photographers Frank Höhler, Thomas Kläber, Georg Krause, Jürgen Matschie, and Reinhard Wehle from the ASA group explored Forst with their cameras. Each developed their own artistic perspective, both documentary and individual. The selection of photographs showcases everyday life, quiet places, traces of history, and surprising details. The exhibition will be presented in the first special exhibition of the newly designed Forster Museum for Textile and Industrial History Lausitz, accompanied by a book of the same name featuring additional images and texts that deepen the journey of discovery.
