"The Dark Side of Angermünde" – In Search of Prisons, Heretics, and Criminal Cases

With a new thematic tour, Angermünde invites its residents and guests to a chilling journey into the depths of both older and more recent history. Angermünde. Unusual perspectives, exciting stories at original locations, and many legends surrounding criminal cases from six centuries are promised by a new offering that the Angermünde Tourism Association is launching in 2022. A special city tour showcases "The Dark Side of Angermünde." The approximately one-hour tour leads from the Peace Park and along the Street of Peace by the city wall to Jägerstraße and across the marketplace to "Haus Uckermark." What sounds like a "completely normal" round through the historic city center is actually a tour tracing the footsteps of criminal cases, dungeons, pillories, executions, and murder.
