Cologne will become the center of the handball world in January 2027 when the 30th IHF Men's Handball World Championship takes place at the LANXESS arena. The arena, known as the "Cathedral of Handball," was already the venue for Germany's World Championship triumph in 2007 and will once again host the main round as well as the entire knockout phase in 2027. Fans can look forward to exciting matches and a unique atmosphere. Ticket sales will begin on December 15, 2025.
