Kirnitzschtalfest (Bad Schandau / Sebnitz)

Traditionally, the hosts of the Kirnitzschtal invite everyone to celebrate at the end of July each year. Guests can look forward to a colorful program filled with music and delicious food. It is one of the annual highlights of the region and is an essential part of summer: the Kirnitzschtal Festival. Celebrations take place throughout the valley. Participants include the depot of the Kirnitzschtalbahn, the Ostrauer Mühle campsite with the Raftsman's Lounge, the Forsthaus hotel, and the restaurants at Lichtenhainer Waterfall, Felsenmühle, Buschmühle, and Ottendorfer Hütte. Visitors can enjoy live music, stilt walkers, acrobatic shows, DJ beats, face painting for children, pony rides, and balloon magic. Historical train rides and a specially arranged shuttle service ensure a relaxed arrival and departure.
