2. Hohnsteiner Fairy Tale Sparkle: "KafKaest - The Encounter in the Coffee House"

In this production, Franz Kafka and Erich Kästner meet in a coffeehouse. The waitress, who has always dreamed of serving prominent guests in her café, is immediately thrilled. However, this changes when she fails to excite the two guests about each other, especially since they take turns presenting their texts. A homage to Erich Kästner and Franz Kafka. Kafka's works are referred to as "anti-fairy tales" because they draw on familiar fairy tale motifs but deny traditional hope and redemption, instead presenting a dark and often tragic reality. Erich Kästner wrote several fairy-tale-like stories. Duration: approximately 1 hour. About Uwe Delkus, Matthias Schlicke, and Ina Friedemann: The three members of the association "Pirna writes e. V." have jointly developed and staged the small production "Kafkaest."
