Zoom!

The fast-paced comedy "Zoom!" comes from the pen of the renowned author Dietmar Jacobs, known for works such as "Extrawurst," which will be filmed in January 2026 with Hape Kerkeling and Christoph Maria Herbst. Together with cabaret artist and host Christian Ehring ("Extra3") and cabaret artist and author Martin Maier-Bode, this humorous piece was created. Originally performed under the title "Crash" at the Düsseldorfer Kom(m)ödchen, it delighted numerous theatergoers in over 170 performances. In a revised version, the play will go on tour in 2025. The plot revolves around three brothers and a sister who wish to select a gift for their parents' golden wedding anniversary during a turbulent video conference. What begins as a simple task quickly develops into an amusing exchange, where different life concepts and personal views collide. The siblings confront their shared past and reflect on their individual biographies. Ultimately, they come together and illustrate the impact of each person settling into their own bubble of thought. The performance will take place in the concert hall in the Kurpark of Bad Salzuflen, an architectural gem known for its excellent acoustics. The concert hall was opened in 1963 and has since offered a diverse cultural program. Surrounded by the idyllic backdrop of the Kurpark, attending "Zoom!" promises to be a cultural highlight in a unique setting.
