Schloß Neuhaus, once the residence of the Prince-Bishops of Paderborn, is one of the most significant water castles in Westphalia. The impressive four-wing complex, with its distinctive corner towers and surrounding moat, was completed in the 16th century in the style of the Weser Renaissance. The adjacent reconstructed Baroque garden invites visitors for a stroll, allowing them to experience the splendor of past eras. Public tours provide in-depth insights into the history of the castle and the Baroque garden. Due to limited participant numbers, it is recommended to purchase tickets in advance.
