Accompanied walks in Haaren

The KreisSportBund Paderborn e.V. (KSB) and the city of Bad Wünnenberg have launched a new movement initiative: Starting in June, regularly accompanied walks will be offered in Haaren under the motto "Together on the way – accompanied walks for all ages." This concept is already being successfully implemented in Borchen and Bad Lippspringe. The aim is to bring older people together and counteract loneliness. The volunteer walk companions adjust the pace and route to the needs of the group. Everyone is welcome, including individuals with walkers or wheelchairs. Participation is free and does not require registration. The first walk will take place on Monday, June 10th at 2 PM, starting at the church square in Haaren. Subsequently, the walk will be offered every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at the same time and meeting point.
