Haller Bach Days Concert No. 5: Journey of Life - A Musical Journey Through Life

The Ingenium Ensemble from Slovenia presents "Journey of Life," a musical journey through the phases of life from birth to youth, family founding, and finally to death and beyond. Six stations connect sacred and secular music, including works by Orlando di Lasso, Giovanni Gastoldi, Johann Christoph Bach, Edward Bairstow, and Eric Whitacre. Founded in Ljubljana in 2009, this a cappella sextet masters a wide repertoire ranging from Renaissance to jazz and pop. It has been awarded at international competitions and has performed at prestigious festivals such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Rheingau Music Festival. The members are Ema Pavlič (soprano), Edita Miklič (mezzo-soprano), Blaž Strmole (tenor), Domen Anžlovar (tenor), and Matjaž Strmole (baritone). Doors open at 4:15 PM.
