Light Experience Church Scheuren

The LightExperienceChurch Scheuren presents an innovative, media-based church system that offers locals and travelers a space for tranquility, reflection, and spiritual impulses. An interactive touch terminal at the entrance allows for the individual design of meditations by selecting specific themes, texts, or music pieces, which are staged with impressive light and sound effects. This offering is aimed at individuals seeking new impulses or wishing to take a break. The project was initiated by the project group "Experience Church" in the pastoral area of Hellenthal/Schleiden and is funded by the Bishop Hemmerle Foundation in Aachen. In the Diocese of Aachen, the LightExperienceChurch has a unique feature. The successful implementation is due to the high level of volunteer commitment from numerous participants.
