Bernard Liebermann and Thierry Gelloz present "Goethe Times, Bad Times," a cabaret program that brings the esteemed advisor Goethe into the present. In a musically satirical evening, parallels are drawn between Goethe's era and today's times. The artists question whether Goethe would be impressed by the artificial intelligence of machines or the natural stupidity of his fellow humans. With wordplay and musical accompaniment, Liebermann and Gelloz offer an entertaining mix of classical and cabaret. The premiere took place on September 24, 2023, at the Kirms-Krackow-Haus in Weimar.
