Cabaret: Thomas Kaufmann in "My Friend, the Drunken Saxon"

Olaf Böhme was one of the most popular cabaret artists from Saxony. His character of the "Drunken Saxon" captivated countless audiences. His "Tax Return" and "de Muddi" are unforgettable. But how did all this come about? Why does the "Saxon" wear a tie? What exactly happened with Muddi? Does a cuckoo clock fit in a memory box, and why don’t lions cook with salt? The answers to such still open questions will be provided this evening by a fictional companion of Olaf Böhme. Although they were not very close, they met repeatedly over the years. Usually on a bench in the green, with a view over Dresden, enjoying a boiled egg and a slice of Mettwurst.
