"Theater in the Museum" Guest performance by the new stage Senftenberg: "So or So – Hildegard Knef"

The Forster Museum of Textile and Industrial History Lausitz is launching a new cultural series: "Theater in the Museum." The opening performance will be presented by the new stage in Senftenberg with the guest performance "So oder so – Hildegard Knef." The production condenses the tumultuous life of the artist into an intense musical biography. Her songs form the emotional core and paint a picture of success, doubt, and new beginnings. Hildegard Knef, shaped by the upheavals of the 20th century, sought her own path between war, career, and her return to Berlin. The production portrays her as a uncompromising personality, whose works continue to resonate to this day. On February 12, 2026, this atmospheric approach to an extraordinary woman will be made experienceable in the unique ambiance of the museum.
