Clothing swap and repair workshop

Wear clothes longer while discovering new ones – this event promotes the reduction of textile waste. Visitors will have the opportunity to give new life to worn or damaged clothing. The event focuses on two main areas. First, repair takes center stage: under the guidance of sewing expert Iris Olvermann, damaged clothing will be repaired. Interested participants can also sew on their own pieces. This opportunity is ideal for precious favorite garments. Additionally, the event features a swapping area: in the existing clothing collection, new favorite pieces can be found. It is possible to bring well-preserved, clean clothing or simply choose clothing. The overarching goal is to use clothing consciously and conserve resources.
