Orchids: Wild & Wonderful

From February 19 to March 29, 2026, the Biosphere Potsdam will become the venue for a magical flower exhibition. Orchids in all shades, from delicate to vibrant, will showcase their full diversity: well-known classics and rare exotics, elegant and playful at the same time. The exhibition not only highlights the beauty but also the fascinating survival strategies of these plants: sophisticated deceptions, clever adaptations, and mysterious symbioses. The special exhibition is complemented by a photo report by Marco Klüber on wild orchids. On selected days, the Orchid Café will also open, offering care tips presented by the head gardener. Those wishing to bring a piece of the tropics home will find an exclusive selection in the Biosphere shop. An experience for all who love nature and want to be enchanted by the diversity of orchids.
