The Great Peat Bog, a significant raised bog in North Rhine-Westphalia, offers a fascinating backdrop for nature tours. Under the guidance of certified nature and landscape guide Erich Sommer, participants gain in-depth insights into the history of the bog's formation, its unique flora and fauna, and its ecological importance for climate protection. The approximately two-hour excursion begins at parking lot P3 on Moorbadstraße in Lübbecke-Gehlenbeck. Prior registration is required.
