VDIG Reading Marathon – Reading Marathon – Grazia Deledda

In cooperation with the Freundeskreis Potsdam-Perugia e.V. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the awarding of the Nobel Prize in Literature to the Italian writer Grazia Deledda, the author is the focus of the 12th VDIG Reading Marathon. The event invites participants to rediscover Deledda's work and the Sardinian way of life. The focus will be on her novel "Schilfrohr im Wind" (Canne al vento). Janina Vahl, a translator, editor, and copywriter, will serve as the scientific advisor for the event. She studied Italian and literary studies and specializes in Sardinian literature. With her new translation of "Canne al vento" into German, she has introduced the Nobel laureate to a new audience. The event is an initiative of the Association of German-Italian Cultural Societies e.V. and takes place in cooperation with the Freundeskreis Potsdam-Perugia e.V.
