RangerTour: Spring Awakening in the Finow Valley

Where the Wehrmühlenweg in Biesenthal branches off from the main road, the sloping cobblestone road leads between the Märkischer Schlossberg and the Slavic Burgwall to the Finow River. This small stream is still young here, as it only springs a few hundred meters away from the Regesesee. The enjoyable tour through the glacially shaped landscape leads to the rest area at Pöhlitzbrück. Along the way, nature awakens; willows alternate with groups of trees, providing ever-changing views. At Pöhlitzbrück, the Finow is crossed again before heading back to the historic Schlossberg. After about six kilometers, the path steeply ascends to the Kaiser-Friedrich-Turm, which offers a fantastic panoramic view. This tour is part of the "Ranger and Experience Tours."
