With a fine sense of language and atmosphere, Eva-Martina Weyer tells the story of life in Uckermark, of tobacco cultivation, origins, new beginnings, and the search for home in "Tabakpech." In the KulturKapelle, the author will read from her novel, discuss its creation, and be available for questions in the subsequent conversation. A book signing and a book table will round off the afternoon.
