775 Years of Stolpe on the Oder – Through History with the Tower Keeper Historical Town and Tower Tour with Dr. Ralf-Dietmar Hegel

Following the lecture at 3:00 PM about Leopold von Buch in the KulturKapelle, the town crier of Stolpe, Dr. Ralf-Dietmar Hegel, invites you to a special guided tour through the Grützpott and the picturesque village of Stolpe on the Oder, in celebration of the anniversary year. Dr. Ralf-Dietmar Hegel will lead an entertaining walk through the village, sharing stories about architectural history, its residents, and changes over the centuries. The tour, suitable for all age groups, offers insights into historical buildings and the cultural life of Stolpe. In addition to exploring the Romanesque tower castle, the Renaissance palace, the family tomb of the von Buch family, the cemetery chapel, the Lower Oder Valley, the canal, and much more will be featured. Along the way, you will also encounter Stolpe's most famous son, the geologist Leopold von Buch – and perhaps even an unexpected guest: it is said that Mr. Geheimrat Goethe has announced a brief visit to Stolpe. Surprises are therefore not excluded.
