"Stolpe Then and Now" - A Village Speaks to Us - Calendar and Exhibition for the Anniversary Show Stolpe on the Oder Through the Ages

For the anniversary "775 Years of Stolpe on the Oder," a special project has emerged that brings history to life: "Stolpe Then and Now." It combines historical and current impressions of the village into a multifaceted picture of memory. The focus is on old and new views of Stolpe – photos and historical postcards – complemented by short texts and quotes. It is a piece of living village chronicle, created by people who live in Stolpe and have accompanied its development for a long time. How has Stolpe changed? What has remained, what has disappeared – and what do the residents themselves say about their village? Photographs, voices, and small stories intertwine to create a vibrant portrait of a place located on the edge of Uckermark, yet rich in history. In addition to large-format images, the first Stolpe annual calendar for 2027 will be presented. Developed and designed by Anja Freyhoff, Reiner Pinkpank, and Thomas Uhlmann, the project will be showcased for the first time in the anniversary year at the KulturKapelle Stolpe. It invites people not only to look at history but to pass it on.
