Schools are in a state of emergency. Many teachers are retiring, and too few young, motivated educators are coming in. But let’s be honest: Who wants to expose themselves to a classroom where puberty is experienced between Roblox and ChatGPT? So why become a teacher? To uphold the educational legacy? To accompany young people? Or perhaps just for the holidays? Hold on! Class management tasks, grading, lesson preparation. 40 hours a week are not enough for that. School is a microcosm where the future of our society is formed, where one can encounter all the highs and lows of life, and where gratitude follows disappointment closely. It actually sounds quite romantic. But for how much longer?
