RangerTour: Humans and Nature Through the Ages

For millennia, the landscapes of Brandenburg have shaped humanity, and vice versa. Trees like oaks, wild animals such as wild boars, and domesticated animals like sheep have found their way into the mythology and everyday life of the Germans, Slavs, and German settlers. You will learn how significantly the interplay between humans and nature has affected and changed over time, and what we can learn from it for our current relationship with nature during this hike to Räuberberg near Schwenow. Peaceful lakes, ancient oaks, old farm paths, and ponds for amphibians accompany the approximately three-hour hike, which is enriched with tales of dwarfs and giants, as well as stories about sunken villages and ancient languages.
