Conversations at the Rheinsberg Musenhof – 5th Colloquium: Women

On the occasion of his 200th death anniversary in 2002, Prince Heinrich was brought back from oblivion by the major exhibition at Rheinsberg Castle titled "Prince Heinrich of Prussia. A European in Rheinsberg." Heinrich finally received the recognition he deserved. Many facets of his personality were illuminated; he gained a character in the public eye. One facet was his family – and within this context, his relationships with his sisters and his wife were examined in the exhibition itself as well as in the accompanying catalog. The topic "Heinrich and the Women" was only briefly touched upon. It is worthwhile to pursue this topic further and in more depth, to throw another stone into the water.
