The South Tyrolean singer-songwriter Dominik Plangger will surprise us this time with a completely new program. Alongside his heartfelt songs of his own creation, he will present a selection of covers that have inspired him to embark on his own musical journey. Well-known names like Johnny Cash and John Prine, as well as less frequently heard artists like Natalie Merchant and Joni Mitchell. And for those who want to know why his songs wouldn't exist without Townes van Zandt and Hank Williams, he will share this very personal story, along with many others, in his usual charming and witty manner. A journey through the history of the Great American Songbook and its influences across the big pond.
