Tour of the Plant Hall of the Glienicke Orangery Hundreds of palms, agaves, laurel, and orange trees adorn the Prussian parks in summer. Well protected, they winter in the orangery, which was built for this purpose by the Prussian kings. One of these is the orangery in the Glienicke Park, constructed on the orders of Prince Carl based on a design by the royal architect Ludwig Persius.
