In Klein Köris, a Germanic settlement was discovered during earthworks in 1976 and extensively investigated until 1995. In an archaeological open-air exhibition, residential and storage buildings, wells, and other facilities have been reconstructed at their original locations. Today, the open-air museum provides insights into the living environment of the Germans of that time. On special action days, visitors can closely observe ancient craft techniques or even learn them themselves. Regular guided tours of the site take place during opening hours.
