With the program "Corpus Deliciti," the ensemble I sogni presents an extraordinary concert that places the diversity and expressiveness of early music at its center. The ensemble, known for its sensitive interpretations, stylistic precision, and vibrant stage presence, passionately dedicates itself to the repertoire of the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, and the early Baroque. The musicians of I sogni combine a solid historical performance practice with a deep sense of musical storytelling. Their sound emerges from the interplay of various historical instruments—warm, transparent, and full of colors. They succeed in interpreting old works in such a way that they feel timeless while still preserving their original aura. In the program "Corpus Deliciti," the ensemble explores the tension between body and spirit, between earthly experiences and spiritual expression. The selected pieces revolve around themes such as love, transience, hope, and devotion—motifs that have inspired composers for centuries. Sacred songs, dance-like instrumental pieces, and intimate vocal compositions weave together into a dramaturgically finely crafted evening that leads the audience into a musical universe full of emotions. The special architecture and acoustics of the monastery enhance the impact of this music, allowing it to breathe, shine, and become fully experienced in its depth. Thus, a concert is created that goes far beyond mere listening—a atmospheric encounter with history, sound art, and inner reflection. An evening for connoisseurs of early music as well as for curious explorers—touching, impressive, and full of sonic delicacies. Tickets will be available from December 1, 2026, at 10 AM at klosterneuzelle.de, at all reservix advance sales points, and directly at the monastery information desk (which will be open that day from 10 AM to 4 PM).
