Festival Made in Potsdam: The Underworld (5+) / Anna Nowicka

The underworld invites you into a world that unfolds beneath a table: a dream world where spaces and bodies transform and reveal great changes. The teacher, Ms. Kreutzer, enters the room on an ordinary day, yet everything is quite different than usual. Is this a game or is it all real? Beings, shapes, or even entire continents emerge. Is this still my world that I am in? With imagination and a desire for movement, the ensemble, together with the audience, embarks on a journey through light and darkness, crossing boundaries and inviting dreams. For only together, with a lot of courage and imagination, can we overcome our fears and discover new worlds. The underworld is the first production for young audiences by choreographer Anna Nowicka, in which she combines her dance work with her research on dreams.
