Tulip Festival in the Dutch Quarter

The Tulip Festival is taking place for the 24th time in the Dutch Quarter of Potsdam. The event is organized by the COEX agency in cooperation with the Association for the Promotion of Dutch Culture in Potsdam e.V. The festival is rooted in a long Dutch tradition, as January 18 marks International Tulip Day in the Netherlands, which signifies the official start of the tulip season. The Tulip Festival in the Dutch Quarter is considered unique in Germany. A diverse program featuring music, dance, crafts, and numerous vendor stalls is created in the largest Dutch residential area outside the Netherlands. The special atmosphere of the historic quarter provides the backdrop for a colorful spring festival.
