In the East German Rose Garden, a rose seminar demonstrates how to keep roses healthy throughout the year. A lecture in the event hall of Rosenflair provides the basics of care, pruning, and soil work. This is followed by a practical introduction in the rose park, where experts demonstrate the proper handling of winter protection, the appropriate spring pruning, and gentle fertilization for a vigorous bloom. The seminar takes place in all weather conditions. Weatherproof clothing and thorn-proof gloves facilitate participation and enhance the learning experience in the rose garden.
