How do we relate to the objects around us? Objects structure our everyday lives; they influence the way we communicate, how we touch each other, what we feel, how we move, and how we envision the future. In "still.dependent," the three performers embark on a detailed exploration of the relationship between humans and objects. Using a Cyr Wheel, a large metal ring that becomes a partner, instrument, and independent subject, they create a sensual utopia that offers a completely new perspective on the inanimate objects of our daily lives. The production invites the audience to reflect on, question, and perceive anew the ubiquitous entanglements between humans and objects. It is a call to break free from objectification and to re-experience the close connection with the world and its objects.
