The tour opens up a view of a city with a multifaceted history. The path of industrial culture serves as the common thread of a well over three-hour journey that connects the past and present. The era of Count Heinrich von Brühl, the industrial boom with over two hundred textile factories, and the upheavals after World War II shape the image of this development. During the walk, old factories, stately villas, public buildings, and traces of the Forst city railway come to the forefront. The Bauhaus-influenced architecture of Rudolf Kühn also becomes visible. This creates a vibrant panorama that tells the history of the city in clear images and opens up new perspectives.
